If you
want to take your photography to another level, or simply
want to make better use of your camera while on holiday, why
not join Fred Malguy Photo-Walks for a course where you will
learn the basics of photography.
During your day with Fred Malguy Photo-Walks you will learn
all about many aspects of photography, including
composition, focusing, exposure and much more. Also, as the
name suggests, all this is done in the great outdoors where
you will be able to turn theory into practice.
About
Fred
Malguy Photo-Walks
Fred Malguy Photo-Walks is in its fourth year of operation
and aims to provide knowledge and confidence to keen amateur
photographers and beginners alike. The course leader has
just under 25 years of experience, ranging from using
analogue (film) and digital cameras and the latest in
digital image manipulation using Adobe Photoshop. The course
leader is also a qualified Mountain Guide and Ski
Instructor. He will lead you on a journey through
contrasting landscapes in search of the extremely varied
fauna and flora of the area.
Fred
Malguy Photo-Walks is all about increasing your knowledge
and ability in the field of photography through tutoring and
practice. Courses can be two days, five days or made to
measure and limited to groups of no more than 5 people.
Courses are held mainly in the French Southern Alps, around
Briancon, Serre Chevalier Valley and the Ecrins National
Park. Aspects covered include equipment, focusing, exposure,
Depth of field, Hyperfocal distance, composition and much
more and is all recapped in a useful training pack that is
yours to keep.
It is all within your grasp and you do not need the most
expensive equipment. Any camera will do (SLR, Bridge or
Compact).

Briançon,
Serre Chevalier Valley and the Ecrins National Park.
Amongst the mythical summits (the Meije, the ridge of the
Ecrins) topped by snow all year round, the landscapes you'll
see in this region will simply take your breath away !
The region has such extraordinary natural heritage that a
National park, the largest in France, was created to protect
it and enhance the environment. Specially designed nature
trail footpaths, observation points, information points and
the Park house are just some of the ways of discovering the
richness of the Ecrins National Park. In the most
environmentally friendly way possible, go in search of the
extremely varied fauna and flora as you cross contrasting
landscapes and settings.
